Hey guys so we have an electric keggle system that we do our 10 gallon batches on and we had some coil left over from our herms. I wanted to put together a 10gal cooler mash tun and possibly using this left over coil as a false bottom. I am mildly handy but I am unsure of the best way to approach this. Anyone have experience with something similar or any other good ideas on how to do this? Thanks in advance

You could make a manifold out of the coil. Typically this is done with rigid copper pipe, but I think the softer stuff could work. You could either drill very small holes all over in one side of the coil or cut slits into it. There's plenty of build threads on this. Just search for "copper manifold mash tun".
