yup, you can use schrader valves, and get a schrader valve attachment for your co2 side. search around, on here, on brewboard, on the net. you should be able to find something.

I do this all the time. I outfitted a couple 1 and 2 liter soda bottle tops with all metal shrader valves (pep boys sells them for about $4 for a pair). Then you need to grab a tire inflator fitting and attach it to your CO2. I don't use it for carbing exactly, I simply fill the bottles with beer from the kegs and hit them with CO2, purge, hit em again. This purges the O2 out of the headspace and keeps the beer carbed until opening again. I do this to bring brew to parties and club meetings.

SWEET

i'm on the hunt..

Many thanks!

I'm pretty much gonna turn my CO2 tank into a tire pump huh?

ok.. so i need a little clarification...

i understand all of the operation except how you attache the valve to the bottle.

do I glue it to the screw top just like you would attach it to a tire?
do i attach it to the actual bottle?
