I have a single tap keggerator and would like to convert to dual. Only problem is two tap tower is bigger than single one currently on it. Whats best route to change over?

If you can find diagrams for the base refrigerator, you can make any necessary modifications. I built my own kegerator, many here have. Changing the tower shouldn't be too hard. Browse this section to see what others have done. I'm moving this thread to the Kegerator section hoping to get more replies. Good luck, keep us posted.
What size is the opening to the kegerator on your current tower? They have extensions you can add to your current tower

You mean something like this? Unfortunately it's 3".
It seems the 2.5" tower extension is a unicorn...
