I have been kegging my homebrew in ball lock kegs for about six months now with great success. Last week I kegged my pale ale and force carbed it letting it sit at about 10 psi. Now I get a lot of foam and air collects in the picnic tap line when it sits. I'm thinking I'm getting air in from around the post so I changed the post o-ring and still having the same problem. My question is has anyone else had this problem, and can I change the dip tube gasket with 4+ gallons of beer in the keg? If so how do you change this gasket?

You shut the gas off to the keg. Pull the relief valve on the keg to degass the head space CO2. Then remove the post from the keg. Pull up the diptube and replace the "O" ring.

I have a two keg system on one can of gas. My serving lines are 6ft long. I have had good results up until this batch, that's why I think it's a gasket issue. Is it really that easy? And can it be done with the keg almost full?

Just spray the parts with star San before you reassemble the parts. Could also have gunk in the poppet valves too.
