Sounds interesting, I pre-ordered some find out how it compares to the London fog. Also curious they say "blend"

this blend of our favorite New England-style IPA strains is great for producing beers with a hazy appearance and tropical, fruit-forward esters. Producing dry, yet juicy beers, the mango and pineapple characteristics will lend to added drinkability.

**This strain has been genetically typed in our lab using polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Through this genetic testing, we have determined WLP067 Coastal Haze Ale Yeast Blend to contain the STA1 gene (glucoamylase), a potential indicator of Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. diastaticus. Brewers yeast are natural hybrids, which make it possible for certain strains to display elements of the STA1 gene. These strains have the ability to utilize some dextrins (unfermentable sugars), resulting in higher levels of attenuation than what is considered typical

Just a matter of time before one of the yeast manufacturers to come out with a “hazy” yeast to cash in on the NE IPA craze.

Not that curious - a lot of the yeast companies are coming out with this kind of blend at the moment. Presumably it's a mix of WLP066 London Fog, WLP095 Burlington and WLP644 Sacc Trois, or something similar. 644 is diastaticus and gives you pineapple and extra attenuation, but you probably wouldn't want to make a beer just with it on its own, the other strains will help flocc it out and prevent attenuation getting out of control.

Sacch trois makes a pretty killer beer tbh, especially paired with citra, mosaic, Amarillo, and/or galaxy hops. It will over power weaker hops though .
