Cleaning new kegs and lines?

I did do some search is trying to find the answer, I have brand spanking new corny kegs all the lines are new I’m guessing everything gets cleaned with PBW just as if it were dirty? Thank you so much, Bob

That would be wise - for kegs and kettles - as it's quite common to have manufacturing residues inside new stainless vessels...
