Has anyone here tried serving a hard slightly carbonated (~1.5 vol) hard cider through a stout faucet using nitrogen or beer gas mixture? I have a nitro setup and have been using it for stouts and the occasional English pub ale, was wondering how a creamy cider would be?

I'm no expert, but my guess is you won't get any creaminess with a stout faucet.
Ciders don't get head that last for any meaningful amount of time (like a soda) because of a lack of proteins which typically come from malted grain. Since cider lacks protein, the faucet won't have anything to work with.
But hey, what do I know? It certainly won't hurt to try and report back :mug:

Might work better with a graff since it has malt.
I'm curious, I say go for it & see what happens.
Regards, GF.

I use nitrogen on my ciders.
You don't get as much as a creamyness as you would a stout
but it's not bad at all.

I say load up 1 keg to 30-PSI and run it throught the nitro-tap.
"The pour" is a little show and you can earn brownie points by pointing out that your buddys cant go to a bar and get the same thing for ANY price (with maybe the exception of 2-3 bars in the entire USA.
