American Pale Ale Chinook & Simcoe APA

Brewing this today. Thanks for the recipe. I have a pound of chinook and 1/2 lb of simcoe and this is the perfect use for some of them.

Looks like a great APA. Chinook and Simcoe caught my eye. Next time I make a pale, this will be it I believe.

Brewing this today...been wanting to try Simcoe for a while but this will be my first time. Bringing wort to a boil now. My LHBS recently changed the rollers on their crusher and warned me that my efficiency might go up, which it did, so this might be a little bigger than expected. Not a bad problem to have!

I love pale ales...really looking forward to tasting this one.

Update: Yep...1.069 OG. I think this might turn out more like a lightly hopped IPA.
