Just joined up as suggested by a fellow local brewer. Ive made about 10 batches so far, next one in line is an AG Yeti clone! Should be fun.

I also make wine, bottled a batch of Australian Shiraz 5/15/2010. Next will be a Washington Reisling.

Brews so far:

1. Weizen--brewers best
2. American Amber--brewers best
3. Double porter--my concuction
4. Greatful Deadguy Ale--NB kit
5. Dry hopped brown ale--friends recipe
6. Caribou Slobber--NB kit
7. American Wheat --NB kit
8. IIPA--My recipe modeled after Rogue IIPA (first AG batch)
9. Session IPA--Re-used grains from IIPA
10. Java Porter--Recipe from Zymurgy
11. Saison--NB kit
12. YETI clone--my recipe

I'm pretty much a black hole of knowledge, a lot goes in, then dissappears....:drunk:

Anyway, I look forward to wasting precious work hours on the forum.

Funny - I should be moving out to Green, KS in about 8 months!-- Good to know brewing is going strong out there! Any good LHBS or am I stuck with only using online.

Closest homebrew shop I know about is in topeka. Its called "ale n vino", they have a small website. But I mostly order from northern brewer since I dont drive to topeka very often, and it's an hour drive each way.

Thanks Dragontail.

Ended up going to topeka last night and visited blind tiger brewery, Great food, great beer!

do you remember which beers you had?

Their Java Porter is amazing.....picked up a growler of that last night. It's anniversary week so growlers are 6 bucks all week.

Jave Porter was the one that brought me out there. I had it a GABF and had to go track it down.
