Hey all,
Just a quick question: Would there be any adverse effects to my beer if, when using a Brita Filter, a few grains of the charcoal got into my kettle water? I am currently brewing with extract and have been filtering some tap water to mix with spring water. Any input would be great.

You're not going to hurt anything. They'll collect at the bottom of the fermenter with the rest of the trub.

Charcoal is inert and nontoxic, so don't worry.
