I was wondering if you can ferment in the 1 gallon Carlo Rossi wine jugs?

I make mead in them all the time. Sometimes I start them in a 2 gallon bucket first.

Thank you! I have a witbeer that I want to brew 5g of and then split into 5 different flavors. So I figure it would be cheaper and easier to acquire 5 of these than regular fermenters.
