Are there any opinions on which is better? Is there even a difference? This is for a red IPA, a dunkel, and assorted other beers in the future.

I can get a bag of Cargill Munich for $43 and a bag of Dingemans for $57.

Thanks!

I'd suggest you do some reading about Cargill and the food monoply they have. Just google Cargill food politics or ethics...The choice is yours. Cargill is one evil corporation.

Yikes, I didn't even consider business ethics in this choice, I was only worried about price vs taste. :O

Annoyingly Cargill imports Dingemans into Northan America, so you're damned if you do and damned if you don't :p

It's no contest between domestic and German Munich malts. That difference in price amounts to about .50 per gallon or a little over a nickle per pint. I'd gladly pay an extra .06 a glass for better beer. :mug:
