Can the C02 gases from the wine fermintation harm you??

Dont hold your head in the fermenter for 10 minutes and youll be fine. The C02 isnt significant to harm you, although you will burn your nose out if you stick your head in and take a deep sniff.

But you dont do it twice.

It can. Not likely. I have been knocked out by a 53 foot semi trailer full of freshly roasted coffee though. Opened the roll up door and all the co2 rolled out while I was taking a breath. Landed on my back.
