Hello guys,

I have a couple of questions :)

Can Star-San and PBW be included with checked-in luggage? I'm planning to ask my brother to bring it to India from the US.

Also how many beer cans could he possibly carry with him? And lastly, please suggest good IPAs from the Boston area. Preferably cans.

Thanks :)

There's a long-running thread here about Star San being confiscated because it is labeled as corrosive (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum/threads/tsa-took-away-my-star-san.261540/)

TSA doesn't regulate alcohol in checked bags when the ABV is under 24% (https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/items/alcoholic-beverages) but Google says 24 12oz cans weighs about 20lb and 24 glass bottles weigh about 36lb so you'll hit your airline's weight limit pretty quick. It can't go through a security checkpoint in a carry on due to the liquid size restrictions.

Trilliuim anything, and Night Shift are good Boston beers. Jacks Abbey if he can get 30 minutes outside of Boston. Treehouse if he can get 90 minutes outside Boston.
