Can I use a ball valve labeled for gas??

Help For my Mash Tun project I bought a couple ball valves from Home Depot, I was in a hurry and did not realize that they were labeled to be used for Gas. Can I still use these or do I need to return them. I am planning on using one on the Mash Tun and one for my Hot water kettle.

no pressure to hold back in the mash tun, so I say go for it, use them and don't look back. If they get gunked up toss them and get some others, the three piece stainless steel blichman ones kick ass, but cost about 25.00

Gas valves are even more expensive than regular water. You'll be just fine.
