I just downloader the supporter's version of Bru'n'water 5.5. I'm using it on an older Mac running Excel. I enabled Macros. Set Calculation to automatic. I set no limit to the number of iterations.
I worked in the suggested order.
1) Local water data (extremely soft water)
2) Sparge water acidification with 10% phosphoric acid.
3) Grain bill:
10.88 KG pale 2-row entered as a "Base Malt"
.45 KG Crystal 45 entered as a "Chrystal"
.45 KG Munich entered as a "Base Malt"
.15 KG Acidulated malt entered as "Acid" Strength = 1.
4) I added salt adjustments to mashing water only - not the sparge water.
.264 g/L Gypsum (dihydrate)
.132 g/L CaCl dihydrate)
.264 g/L MgSO4 (7 hydrate)

Water to grist ration is 3.1 L : 1 KG

First problem. The Mash pH is stuck at 5.7. I even changed the amount of acidulated malt to see if I could get it to change. NOPE.
Second problem: Blue arrows that I can'g get to go away. I've tried the CALCULATE NOW command. NOPE
But sometimes, when I switch back and forth between different sheets, the blue arrows DO go away.

I wonder if my version of Excel or the Mac is too old. Hopefully - it's just something that I ( a newbie) have overlooked. Help!

EDIT: Well, I just tried something and it seems to work. On the Preferences - Calculation window, I entered 100 in the "Maximum Iteration" box. Now the pH is recalculating with each change.
Maybe this info will help others.

I have an older Mac (2009) running OS v10.13 and Excel v16.41.
I don't see a way to set no limit on the number of iterative calculations.
I have mine set to 100.

You have to sort this out. This is what causing your blue arrows.
Without this sorted, your pH will not calculate.
