I was curious to know, since you boil your water to sanitize and then boil your extract for the same purpose and to impose flavor, couldnt you pour in the extract at about 120 degrees and bring them both up at the same time? It may not reduce the full boil time, but could this prevent boilovers a little better? Any answer would be helpfull. Thanks.

You can do that, I mix extract into my steeping water or the 150F mash water when I mini-mash. The cooler the water, the harder it is to mix the extract in. I doubt it would make any difference in the boilovers.
