I have a recipe that calls for 15.2 oz of brewers corn syrup. What is brewers corn syrup? My LHBS doesn't have it, can I use regular corn syrup (is it anything special or just what ever at the grocery store)? When do I add this, just during the boil sometime?
thanks in advance,
Adam

Store corn syrup has other stuff, like vanilla in it. You can use plain corn sugar, same as what you'd use for carbonation.

Add it to the boil.

I bought some brewers corn syrup from Austin Homebrew, and used it in my "apple Pie" beer. I used canned apple pie mix. The corn syrup actually added the exact taste i was looking for, the syrupy taste. I hope you understand what I mean. I hope that helps

It is liquid corn sugar with no additives. You can use corn sugar instead but use 20% less than the liquid stuff.
