Well, I had the great idea about 10 months ago to make a bar out of old bourbon barrels. A lot has changed since then, and I am now attempting the infamous barrel kegerator.

My Steps:
1. Buy Barrels
2. Cut Doors
3. Secure Doors/ Attach staves
4. Stain
5. Remove refrigerant unit from old mini fridge
6. Insulate Kegerator and add refrigerant unit
7. Attach doors and hardware
8. Add shelf and light and electromagnetic switch to cabinet
9. Add beer tower and lines to kegerator
10. Build base, Im looking at a wooden frame with a faux stone front
10. Clear Coat Epoxy/ Resin Tops of barrels
11. Drink beer and relax.

I still need to buy the tower, im looking at this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E5NAL5M/ref=s9_simh_hd_bw_b14JJ99_p79_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-2&pf_rd_r=Z4N87J5G1JWGWGVXGSYC&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=2223091382&pf_rd_i=979840011

And also need a temp controller. Any suggestions on good ones?

I am finally making moves on it and hope to be done in next couple weeks. I will try to add on to the pics as I make progress.
Any tips or suggestions are appreciated!

Update: Bought all my insulation today. Along with tower, temp controller and puck lights.

Need some help with the resin fill for the top of the barrels. Anyone used clear resin?
I think I need 42 oz per barrel. I got 19in diameter top and filling 1.5 in.

Any ideas?
