Ok, I have put in a secondary for 1 month before, and after I bottled it took FOREVER to carbonate....... Anyone have any suggestions on this?? I am making a bourbon Barrel ale. 1.73 SG and 1.02 FG. Should I add any yeast before I bottle.... Or stir anything up.... I am really scared that it wont carb up.....

Keg and force carbonate would be an option. I have not been brewing that long but 3 months in secondary seems like a long time.... even for a whiskey barrel ale or stout.

You can also add about half a pack of yeast to your bucket when you bottle to ensure you have enough viable yeast for bottle conditioning.

I've done both. Both work fine.

Good luck!
