Bought a new Temp Probe

So I bought THIS to test out the "cool-brewing fermentation cooler". But I'm curious if I could use it to read my mash temps.

It looks like it is water proof and the site says it can measure liquid so I was thinking of poking a hole in the top of my Round Cooler MLT and just sitting it in there during the mash. Anyone see a problem with this?

That's pretty cool. I don't see why you couldn't use it in the mash. If it's starts reading crazy you know water got inside. I would at least make a cheap copper thermowell for it in the mash.
