I have a quad that is ready to bottle after 2 weeks in primary and 5 weeks in secondary. Not only is this my first quad, it is my first time using T-58 yeast.

My question is whether I should add some yeast when bottling.

OG was 1.090, FG 1.020, ABV 9.1%.

I wouldn't. Belgian yeasts are very resilient. But if you have packs of dry yeast around, use part of one if it makes you feel more secure.

At only seven weeks there is really no need to add yeast.

A high OG beer will take a lot longer to carb up, but I have had 11.5% brews carb up after several months This is OK because high gravity beers need some time to age out anyway.

If you do want it to carb faster you can add a partial pack of yeast. It won't hurt, but you will end up with more sediment in the bottles.
