Seriously. Make sure that you plan for containment. The crowns I have took over a 4x4 raised bed in less than 2 years. Runners are starting to climb the sidewalls of the bed. I'm sure that without containment they would be in our yard and in the neighbors yard. Just use some of the black weed guard and dig it into the ground a foot or two around the area that you want to contain.

Congratulations! Having a partner who supports the crazy stuff you do is great! Not that you didn't know 11 years ago, but she's definitely a keeper!
