So, I've brewed up the Chimay Grande Reserve clone as described in the book, "Beer Captured" by Tess and Mark Szamatulski. I'm ready to bottle this stuff in a couple weeks.
I love a nice IPA and I have grown and vacuum bagged some Cascade and Centennial hops. I was considering pulling a gallon of the batch and tossing in some hops just for the heck of it.
Someone talk me out of it. Or not. I'm probably going to do it anyway, so how much whole, dry hops should I add to a gallon? Preference of Cascade or Centennial? I realize I won't get the bittering, but it might be interesting anyway. I'll try just about anything once.
Thanks!
Tony
