BeerSmith Mash Tun Thermal Mass

I've been using BeerSmith for about 6 months now. I did set up my equipment profile initially, using the wizard. However I just noticed that the .3 I entered for the thermal mass of my mash tun ( sankey) is insignificant. I can change this number to anything and it doesn't effect my infusion water temp at all??

Can anyone help me with this one??

open your recipe in BeerSmith and click on the 'Mash' tab. Right below the mash profile is a box labeled 'Adjust Temp for Equip'. Make sure that this box is checked! if not checked, BeerSmith does not account for the equipment temperature and adjust for that (using the specific heat of the equipment).
