Apfelwein fermenting issues

So I set my Apfelwein on the 19th and added the pack of yeasties, but no matter how much I washed the funnel I could not get it all down. My batch is 2.5 gallons, so I hoped more then half the pack made it in. and decided to relax and drink a brew. Afterwords I capped it and waited, it is now 3 full days later and I had no activity at all in the airlock. I decided to re-pitch with another pack of the yeast, but this time I followed the instructions on the back of the pack and dissolved it in 100 degree water before adding it. I hope this batch will kick it off, but SWMBO asked me a question I could not answer. Will re-pitching cause any issues that would make us not want to drink the Apfelwein? I tend to think not, but I wanted to ask and be sure, since I am a newb.
