How palatable is the decanted wort from a starter? Probably too sweet if it wasn't hopped at all? I think I'll give it a try sometime.
 
I wouldn't think it would be too good. I ferment my starters at room temperature so I would think there would be bad off flavors. Not to mention that it would be a week light beer.

I guess it is not technically a beer either. Beer = water + malted barley, and HOPS.
