My mom owns an FJ and she loves it. The doors kinda leave something to be desired, as they're batwing doors (the front and back doors lock in together) I love driving it. It's got a lot of kick to it, and they can two their T@B trailer with no problems at all. The rear visibility is limited, and I guess they must have known that in it's design because it has a proximity alarm built into the back. basically, the closer you are backing in to something ,the faster and louder this beeping goes.
The floor is all tough rubber, and it can be hosed out. And they have, actually, since they have dogs that like to get carsick. I dunno what that review that Orpheus posted means by the rear access door provides poor cabin entry. It's a rear door. it's supposed to be there for putting stuff in the back! It is kinda disconcerting to drive at first because it's a high profile vehicle.
If you need to do any offroading on a day to day basis I recommend it.
I do like the triple wiper blades on the front windshield too
