I collected the yeast from the primary. Its now seperated in the fridge. There is clear beer on top a greyish stuff in the middle and a clean white solid on the bottom of the jar. I am thinking that the white stuff on bottom is yeast, but isnt the yeast supposed to be suspended in the middle? I am trying the best I can to get this yeast saving shyt down, but its driving me crazy. Am I right here though? Is that clean looking white solid on the bottom of the jar the yeast?

Huh, I thought the thin light colored layer just below the clear beer was the yeast. At least that's what I used to make a starter and it worked great. I've only done this once, however.
