Thanks to a local craftman and a friend with a firm food grading ss, now I have my fb ready to be put in my 26 Gal MT kettle, for my upcoming HERMS sys. It's so solid and heavy! Diameter 19.69 inch.
Basically, it's made with 2 304 ss circles with holes, one over the other in the way you see in the pics.
A hole for the hose and a ss circle wall under the fb (to make it stronger under the grain weight) complete the build.
