another South Florida newbie

Hi everyone! Wanted to get into home brewing and my future wife got me the northern brewer deluxe kit for my birthday. First batch is being bottled tomorrow. Irish Red Ale.

If i knew how easy making beer was i'd have probably started at age 10... good thing I didn't.

Glad to see a lot of other South FL locals here, I live spitting distance from BX Beer depot so if you frequent that establishment I'll likely run into you at a friday night tiki tasting or two.

I was at the Bx for a bit yesterday. Picked up supplies for 2 batches.

you're lucky to be so close to Bx, that place is great. Im well south of there so the drive is a PITA, but the Funky Buddha Lounge recently opened a home brew supply store next to its bar/lounge in Boca so I can get some things there when I stop by for happy hour.
