yep sorry to post it but I felt a need to :p

did ed's haus ale recipe today,every thing went fairly good.I was 2 degrees high after the initial mash in but after 10 minutes of mixing it came down to 152 degrees and I started the mash.I only lost 1 degree over the hour in my cooler.

I did a double batch sparge ala Bobby_m and hit my my preboil volume.the only hitch was my boil off was higher than normal and I wound up with exactly 5 gallons in the fermenter.The good news is I hit my target OG of 1.052.

I oxygenated for 1 minute and pitched rehydrated nottingham,now the waiting game begins...how did it turn out? time will tell...
