Anyone do this?

I was wondering whether the candi sugar flavoring imparted into belgian beers would impart a similar taste to ciders.

Caramel and apple's pretty good on a stick. I bet it'd be a good match in a cider as well. I've made the dark candy syrup for this amber ale, and I those flavors sound good in a cider. May just have to try it one of these days.

It wasn't exactly cider but I did put about 2lbs into a graff (gluten free style, sorghum malt). Plan on cracking some this weekend for the first taste. Oh I used dark, not amber.
