Pretty exciting week for me, I just made the last big orders for my eHERMS control panel. It's a pretty standard Kal clone, with parts from ebrewsupply.com. 50 amps, so I can do back-to-back batches. One thing I added, which I haven't seen in other builds, is a kilowatt hour meter. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A4VF7U8/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 I got this one because it mounts on a DIN rail. I know there's no real reason for it, but I just want to know for sure how much power I'm using. I plan on getting the numbers with my system as-is, and again with insulated vessels. I also ordered a combination volt/amp meter, mostly for the bling status.
