I really enjoyed the event, until my allergy medicine or allergies themselves got into a big fight with the sours and made me terribly sick. I think I vomited all my grub after the friendship blends, which I thought tasted terrific. Sucks I had to miss out on the last 3, but god damn Russian River pulled off a great event, my sickness aside.

Just an FYI, that event was awesome. Meeting Jean and Rob and getting to hear in depth commentary on their beers/history/practices was priceless. The beers were awesome, especially the Cantillon version of Friendship Blend (out of bottles no less!!!)

Oh, and the Beatification was a new batch in bottles. 3/25/15 bottle date to be exact.

I had a blast as well. The food was delicious, getting to try the individual components and the two blends in addition to the Cantillon offerings was great. It was also cool to see so many familiar faces, not just of beer fans, but bar owners and bartenders.

Yeah, JVR was walking around with a bottle of Jean Chris Nomad that had a very prominent sticker that said "FAKE" on it, so they are probably very aware of the issue.
