Day two into fermentation and I can smell krausen/yeasty aroma coming through my airlock. Will this affect the overall beer? Is this bad/good/doesn't matter? I don't recall having this issue with previous brews. It might help to mention that I am using a seven gallon stainless steel conical I purchased from More Beer.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks! The wife is the only one complaining about the smell. I don't so much.

It is, after all allowing excess gas to escape from the fermenter. There is likely no problem with the beer. Your problem problem with the wife on the other-hand?????

Yeah what am I to do? Ha. Thanks for the input though.
