We made a seltzer, basically took everclear and water and mixed to 6%. We have it chilled and carbonated and actually have a really nice carbonated water with 6% alcohol. Really nice mouthfeel but no flavor. A month ago when we made it we put some mango flavor in but can’t taste it. I read we should add some sugar, does that seem like a good idea? If so how much should we start with?

Make a syrup with 50/50 sugar/water (heated until it's fully clear.
Pour a measured glass of your concoction and mix in sugar until you like how it tastes.
Scale that up to the whole batch.

Oxidation maybe.
