adding boiled hops to secondary

would there be any benefit to adding the hops (1 oz saaz) that i used in the boiled (60 minutes) wort in the secondary?
in other words, recycle the hops from the boil and add to the secondary for more hop aroma. pro's con's ???

i have never seen this mentioned so it's probably not a good idea :rolleyes:
 
All of the aroma and flavor has been lost during the boil. I suppose, theoretically, you may get a bit more perceived bitterness. I don't see this concept improving your beer. Obviously it's not recycling your hops, but I would stick to good old dry hopping for added aroma.
