My yeast packet says "sprinkle on top of the wort and leave to ferment, no need to rehydrate."

Do I simply sprinkle it on top, or do I mix it in vigorously?

The brand is Muntons Premium Gold Active Brewing Yeast.

Thank you!

I did a honey wheat beer recently, my first ever, and I used a dry yeast packet. We just sprinkled it right on top, and everything went great. The recipe was simple but turned out as good or better than your average store bought honey wheat. However, I have since read that using liquid yeast is better, and the beer in my fermenter is a liquid yeast beer.
But yeah, sprinkling is fine.
