so i'm wanting to brew a stout, but am wondering what types of yeast you all prefer when brewing this particular style beer.

any recommendations?!

any strains to avoid??!

thanks!

I have had a good experience with WLP002. It has lower attenuation than WLP004/005 and gives that nice english quality. I also like S-04 when I don't have time to make a starter.
