Hello Folks

I've been fermenting an English Bitter for 25 days at 20-23 degrees celcius and its SG has stalled at 1014. It dropped from 1041 to 1019 in the first week, then to 1016 after another week but has been stuck on 1014 now for at least 5 days. Previous beers usually got to around 1004 or so. Is it okay to bottle beer around 1014? Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards
Alex

What were the previous beers? 1014 is slightly high for 1041 OG on a Bitter, but not bad. I'd stir up the yeasties, give it another week, then bottle/keg it and enjoy.

Thank you brothers

My other beers have mostly been lagers. I'll give the yeast a bit of a shake up and see how it goes.

Cheers
