For sale is a small scale brewing system that has seen use primarily in pilot programs in production breweries. It has been cared for and stored by professional brewers in professional facilities. It is currently located in Flagstaff, AZ.

See list of components below description.

The three vessels (HLT, MLT, Kettle) each have a maximum capacity of 20 gallons which is suitable for producing 1/2 BBL (15.5 gallon) batches of up to approximately 20 degrees Plato. The highest original gravity it produced was 24 degrees Plato and the final yield was just over 14 gallons. The stand on which the kettles sit is a custom built uni-strut stand with castors and has two ~72,000 BTU high pressure banjo burners mounted on custom brackets at 4.5" below the bottom of the kettles in the HLT and Kettle positions. All three kettles were acquired from the Bru Gear kickstarter campaign in 2014. The MLT is currently wrapped with insulation which is not glued to the tun and can be easily removed. The HLT has a 50'x1/2"ID stainless steel tubing HERMS coil. Dip tubes and recirculation arms were custom fabricated by Colorado Brewing Systems in 2014 and the false bottom has been modified to accommodate the dip tube in the MLT. The burners are currently set up for propane, but orifices can be changed to burn natural gas. Additionally the kettles are suitable for induction heating.

The only electronic components on the system are the pumps which are turned on and off with a power supply switch and flow rate is controlled via sanitary ball valves on the outlets. This system does not include an electric automation control panel and definitely does not require one to operate or produce high quality wort.

An assortment of parts are included in this sale allowing for a variety of configurations and can easily be configured for use with on-demand hot/cold liquor in a brewing facility. No fermenters are included. Time permitting, the HLT has been used as a fermenter (empty and pasteurized by the time boil is done) and modified sanke kegs, one of which is included. For questions about how this was done inquire via email.

Asking price is $2500.00. Price was determined by coming up with an original purchase/construction price then reduced by 30% before being rounded down to the nearest hundred dollars. Price is fair, but REASONABLE offers will be considered. Buyer is responsible for picking up/shipping. Seller will coordinate with shipping company and transport locally (within 15 miles of Flagstaff city limits) for an additional $100.00 and in the event the buyer needs the stand disassembled (not recommended) a further $100.00 will be required.

Feel free to email with any further questions or if you'd like to see more photos. Serious inquiries please include a phone number and hours I can contact you. I travel for work and meeting to see the equipment will depend entirely on my availability, but is recommended.
