friday i plan on brewing an american amber ale with a bit more hops.
my recipe is

10lbs pale malt
11oz special b
8oz flaked oats

mash 148 for 60 min

.5oz summit fwh
.5oz summit 15min
.5oz summit 10min
1oz summit fo
OG 1.051

pitch wy2112 cal common yeast at 58-60

the grain bill is set in stone but could add more flaked oats, as for the hops i have been wanting to try summit out for a while now and figured they could stand up to this grain bill. any thoughts?

Go for it!

Personally I'd do my finishing hops at 10 minutes, 5 minutes, and FO. But, that's just me being me.

Post how it turns out!!!

It smelled promising at bottling, i crack one open tonight and it's a bit oniony for lack of a better word. it has only been in the bottle for a week though
