After spending the last few years pairing beer with various types of food due to an obsession with cooking, I figured the next step would be to brew my own beer. I would be lying if I said that the idea of having gallons and gallons of beer in my house isn't a large contributing factor.
I ordered my setup a few weeks ago (Speidel 20l) and in the mean time I've been working on converting some free space on the property into a brewing room. The room is about 650 square feet, and has been used as a storage room for the past 15 years. It has concrete flooring, but I'm putting down an extra concrete layer to cover up various imperfections, adding a floor drain, putting up a divider wall (the whole space is about 1300 square feet), then covering the floor with epoxy.
