I have brewed several beers from AHS kits. All excellent. I also make wine from scratch and have a bunch of yeast energizer and nutrient. Can this be used in beer? I know that AHS sells Brewvint yeast energizer. Will the yeast nutrient I have for wine work in beer?

I have used yeast nutrient in beer before, with no ill effects. However, it's not usually necessary. The malt and hops should give the yeast all the nutrient they need.

Yeast nutrients tend to be in a more labile form than in wort, so the yeast can utilize them more quickly and efficiently. Also, wort can be deficient in zinc, which yeast need. You'll be fine without it, but if used as directed, you may observe shorter lag times.
