Yesterday I did my first pilsner and my second AG batch (80% effecency, woohoo!)

Anyway, some extra hops I had lying around may have accidentally fallen out of my hands and into my brew kettle during my boil, resulting in a pilsner that has roughly twice as many IBUs as the cap of the style guideline. Whoops!

That's what I get for adding things without doing calculations first. I guess it's a good thing I love hoppy beers.

to me, 'hoppiness' and 'bitterness' are different things. Hoppiness comes from late or dry adds, bitterness comes from 60+ minute adds. But, I love both

This should have plenty of both, hahahaha. 3oz of noble hops in the last 15 minutes of the boil should make for lots of hop character.
