Hi guys
I know this is something which has been discussed before but here it goes again. I brewed up a Christmas ale the other week and I fear I was a bit too conservative on the spices I put in such as allspice, cinnamon, cloves etc. Beer will come out of primary into secondary one of the days and I will taste it to see if I want more spice.
IF I do, how would you suggest I add it? I read somewhere that it was possible to actually boil a bit of spice with the priming solution. This seems like a good way to just add that liiiiitle extra spice you might want after tasting the. Is there anything which should keep me from doing this? Will adding it to secondary in stead make it more effective and if yes how should I then do this?
Cheers,
Tegeberg
