Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but "Closing Time" is actually sung by Semisonic!

Ahhh you are so right. Well they're both soft alt rock from the northern reaches of North America so I guess I lump them together.

I wish I remembered the lyrics I was making up at the time, they were pretty good.

Batch sparge time, heating up the strike water then pouring it into the mash...
 
This song is ideal for ALL brewing activities. You can adjust the words to fit any process you are doing at the time. This, or Peanut Butter Jelly Time, of course.
