Hey guys, I made a 1 Liter starter using WLP 001 a few days ago, then put it in my fridge last night to settle the yeast.
I decanted the starter beer off the yeast this morning to check for any off flavors.
I'm definately tasting some diacetyl in it. Is this because the yeast wasn't given a chance to clean up after itself?
Basically, I was just wondering if this is something that will translate into the finished beer, or if the yeast will run it's course in my primary and clean up the diacetyl.
