Try WLP838 Southern German Lager yeast. This is my go-to for Ofest, dunkels and German lagers, Tastes great, ferments very clean and I have never had any diactyl problems. Gets even better attenuation after the 2nd or 3rd generation.

I used to use all different yeasts for each style of lager. But I realized that the difference between lager strains is very small especially when compared to ale strains.

Some time ago Jamil Z recommended that I pick one yeast and use it over till I knew ever attribute it has. Then use it for all my lagers.

Do I would say most would work good. I would reccomend wlp830 or wlp833.
